Car Buried For Fifty Years Undriveable

Someone thought that it would be a great idea to bury a car in a time capsule so that in the year 2007, when there would be no more gasoline used, they could look back to 1957 and enjoy those days. Unfortunately, the car is undriveable. However, the gasoline that was buried with it in two 10 gallon containers may well be valuable to scientists.

A 1957 Plymouth Belvedere was buried in a time capsule with the gasoline and other items they believed would be interesting to those who opened it this year. The car, muddy and almost unrecognisable, was unearthed in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the courthouse on June 15th.
