Smile, You’re On Candid Camera

Welcome back!

Anyone remember that show? I do. In fact, there are times when I look around due to feeling like my whole life is some type of candid camera stunt. Don’t you hate it when the world is going right but your life isn’t? Sometimes it feels just like the world is a stage and I am the only one on it, doing a one woman show for people who could care less. Yes, that does sound dismal, doesn’t it. Actually, I am certainly thankful that it does not happen like that very often. I spent a couple of days like that, hated it and got myself out of the depression type hole I was building for myself. Now I feel better, at least until someone comes along and wants to tell me how bad their life is going. Nah, I can handle that.

Speaking of talking about how badly someone’s life is going, have you noticed that the media is really gearing up for the president-elect? You can only wonder how long it will be before they start coming down on him like they tend to do with all of those in public life. The truth is, I am so glad I am not in the public eye. No, I do not believe I ever would be but that’s great. Have you taken a good look at what happens when the person’s life is there for all to see? I do not believe anyone can stand up to all that scrutiny for long. Well, there are those who ham it up but you have to wonder exactly what they are doing or thinking in their private times. Thankfully, we will never really know. I do not want to know about that. It belongs to them alone.

Can you tell I really did not have a lot to say today? Probably. Oh well. It’s my blog. I can ignore anything for a little while. *grin*
