Once Upon A Time In The Kitchen

Welcome back!
No, I do not plan on telling fairy tales. But we realized that our eating habits were costing us dearly a few years ago. We tried a couple of things out like counting carbs and other diets where you can buy the book. One was a huge mistake since it wanted people to buy what we thought of as exotic foods that were definitely not available locally. While we did not stick with any one plan since it was obvious to us that diets did not work well, we did pick up some better eating habits. And now we try to do more healthy cooking. My husband was once a “nuke it and eat it” kind of guy. When we got married, I introduced him to my home style cooking. It’s all rather basic but good. He loved it.
As the years went by, I was less and less able to do the cooking, he took it over. By that time, he had become disabled so no longer went out of the house to work. With more time on his hands, he loved the idea of learning more about cooking instead of pop it in, listen for the beep and go. A very popular network became available to us and we watched. The more he learned, the better we ate, the healthier we ate and are still eating. This is fantastic. And now he blogs about it!!! I love it.
