Just Sitting And Getting More Bored By The Day

Welcome back!
I have to tell you that being confined to the house AND being confined to a specific part of it is truly difficult for me. I know. I know. The sounds of people screaming “Waaaaaaa” are being heard even as we sit here with me typing away. Sigh. But even though I was not the most active soul in the universe, I was still more active than I currently am. And that is such a problem. Of course, things are getting better. I am able to move around a bit more and there is little to no pain in the leg anymore. The only source of pain now seems to be the lack of movement of the leg itself when I forget to exercise it. That is a definite NO NO. I need to make sure it gets plenty of exercise because it does not seize up that way. Sometimes my muscles just seem to want to stop working.
Okay, I am definitely rambling here. That’s because except for one trip recently, I have not been out of the house since the infamous Friday when we went from the doc to the second doc to the hospital to home all in just over twenty four hours. Sigh. That was an extreme day, to say the least. And now, we have only gone out of the house once since then. But I can say that I am losing weight. This is not how I would choose to do it really. And it’s not like I’m taking weight loss pills or anything like that. Maybe some day I might need those but right now, all I have to do is sit for a while and I really do not want anything to eat. When we do eat, the consumption is less. I guess that’s because of a lack of activity. I dunno for certain though.
A loss of appetite for me is a good thing. It just does not need to be taken to an extreme. That was something I did when I had the spider bite. Frankly, I had no interest in food whatsoever. That was weird, even for me. But because I was also fuzzy headed and not thinking straight, it did not occur to me that it was not normal. My husband was, at the time, having his own problems and it did not occur to him either. Ah well.
