The Longer I Sit Here, The More Nuts I Get

Welcome back!

Yes, that is just about where I am right now. The first thing is that I hate to be confined. And if you have been following my story, you know that I am sitting or lying down all day long because of a medical condition that is for an unknown amount of time. That alone is enough to drive a person to do weird things. I seem to get weirder by the day. For instance, I watched the squirrel races for quite a while the other day. But, hey, you found out about it because of that. It was fun…for the squirrels. For me, it was interesting in an otherwise sameness type day.

As I mentioned to someone the other day, if it were not for my computer, I would have a sanity problem. With my trusty computer, I am able to visit all sorts of places, not just the bathroom. LOL! Speaking of that, we are likely going to have to get some work done in there. Our bathroom floor is a bit on the mushy side. Now, usually I would not have a big, hurry up problem with that. But, in my condition and using a walker to go everywhere, the mushy thing could get dangerous for me.

Of course, if one is going to remodel the floor in the bathroom, one would want to look around and see what else could be accomplished as well. The truth is that I hate the tub in that bathroom. It’s one of those things they put in the house in the 80’s, I think, a molded tub. Frankly, I would be happier with an enclosed shower rather than the tub. We should think about that. And as long as we are in there, we would want to get rid of those hideous bathroom faucets and get brand new ones. Topping the list is the toilet. It’s got to be replaced too. Yes, I can see it now. The whole thing is going to be changed to something brand new. I love the idea. However, the fly in that ointment is that it’s the only bathroom (we have two) that accepts the walker.

Now that the bathroom is taken care of, I will focus more on the computer again. On to the places I always wanted to visit. The only thing is that the visiting is virtual and my tail bone is still right here on this couch looking at my trusty computer for another day. I’m still working on that dream. Hey, maybe I need a nap.
