Oh The Pain Is Awful

Welcome back!

For the third day in a row, I am dealing with something greater than the infection and that antibiotic thing. The pain in my calf is awful, like a big cramp that will not let up. I do not think I have ever had such pain in my legs before. The worst thing is that I got it in the calf on Wednesday. On Thursday, it became worse by heading into my knee cap. And now, it’s located in my calf, knee cap and my thigh. I have heard about such things but never had that myself. So, we called the doctor. I will say this. He is a good guy and a good doctor but it takes time to hear back…half the day. That’s unreal. They did finally call back a few moments ago and wanted to prescribe a pain killer. Normally, I would let them but this seems different somehow.

My family has convinced me that I need to seek treatment right away so my husband is calling an ambulance for me. Lovely. Just the greatest way to get more fun in the day, right? But I do see that it’s necessary. I actually cannot walk to the door of the house let alone head to a doctor’s office. So, that’s about that. And the pain is so bad that the only thing keeping me from going nuts is me writing this while I wait. More later, I guess.
