Tough To Make A Living These Days

Welcome back!
I doubt that there are many people who would argue with that statement. It really is very tough to make a living today. I am not even talking about having a lot of good things. Actually, I meant tough to make a living for the little guy who only has a rental and needs to pay the bills and feed the kids. Not that easy. And most families have both parents working which is really tough if the children are small or if the kids have never had the parents around them a lot.
What does it take to make it these days? I have no idea. Do I have to become a futures broker just to make ends meet? I hear they do pretty well if they are any good, that is. I don’t really know. I used to be a trucker, over the road style. I did actually love doing that work but I can tell you, it is definitely not for everyone. There is a certain temperament that a person has to have for that. If a person flies off the handle easily, do not become a trucker—or a futures broker, for that matter. ACK! So, I have no idea what works these days. If I knew that, I would not currently have bill problems. Sigh.

I totally agree with you that making a living has become very difficult indeed with almost prices of everything shooting up! And yes particularly you have small children to feed life becomes far more tougher. I am bookmarking this wonderful blog: http://del.icio.us/britneyvaughan
Thank you. Yes, we tried so many things but most do not work online, that is. We did find a way to make some money and are doing that. But it is so hard to have any more than paying the bills. Very tough.
