Yes, I heard that being shouted to my cousin when he was in school. Not too nice, is it? And the kids still say things like that today. I do not get it. I simply do not understand how one kid can treat another kid like that. The real problem is that those same kids treat the other kids like that, not just once a day, but relentlessly all day long, day after day after day. That is so hurtful and cruel. But those kids do not care about that. And that is truly sad.
My cousin had horrible acne, that’s what they called it then. I suppose the medical folks still call it that but these days, it’s zits. “Hey zit face!”. Uh huh, that works so much better. No it doesn’t. That hurts just as much as the other thing did. It’s just that in these enlightened times, no kid should have zits, right? Wrong. That happens, like it or not. That’s part of growing up. Some kids get a lot, some a little. But they do happen to everyone. Heck, I’m most certainly not a teen and I have them too, a couple anyway. Took me back to high school in my memories. Ah well. That was then. So, get out the zit cream and get rid of those puppies.
