Brace Yourselves: Prices Rising On All Goods
Posted by: From Arkansas in Are You Kidding Me?, Business news on Jul 27 2008
Welcome back!
For the most part, goods other than food and gas are staying somewhat near what they have been. But that is about to change. Handy too. Just about the time people want to buy things for Christmas, the retailers and the manufacturers decide that they cannot hold back anymore and will raise prices for their goods too. Uh huh. I do believe that they were trying to help us..the consumer. Yeah right.
Actually, if they could stand to wait it out, they stood to get a huge profit when adding to their prices just in the nick of time to get the Christmas buyers. How nice for them. And unscrupulous as well. And greedy. Let us not forget greedy. That most of all. Christmas has not been about the Lord Jesus for years. It is all about the almighty buck and how many can we rake away from the consumer. This year will be no exception. Those retailers and manufacturers could care less if we can afford things or not. They are going to take your dollar any way they can.
Now we have a sob story about how they have been holding back the price hikes. Yeah, I am so sure that they did that for us. Does anyone see anything fishy here? They are planning on raising the prices soon, as in a few weeks or less. HELLO!!! Does anyone see how close to Christmas this is? I realize that we, who are in the hot zone, do not feel like it’s getting near Christmas but for those who shop early, this is the ripe time of the year for it. And those nasty, greedy companies are going to make a buck any way they can. ANY WAY.
So, brace yourself. Those prices are going to rise even though the price of a barrel of oil is dropping like a hot potato. Even though that happens, prices of gas are going to stay steady until the oil goes back up. Then it will rise faster than it has been. The price of goods will rise and the excuse will be that they cannot help it anymore. Uh huh. I am disgusted with that. There are ways to deal with all this. They need to think about their consumers, loyal customers. I have stopped being a loyal customer to many places because of their curious lack of interest in the customer and the consumer. Companies that continue to care about their sales will continue to prosper. Those who do not, will not. It’s that simple.
rising prices, goods prices rising, oil prices falling, barrel of oil, Christmas sales

Yes i agree with the writer point of views. So this issue with all of us. Thanks for sharing this information.
Rising prices have affected us from the beginning. This is always a problem. However when they try to sound like they are saving us from something, that makes me want to scream. Those greedy companies could care less about us, the consumer. This is a seller’s market and we get to pay and pay and pay.
