Spring Cleaning In The Summer

Posted by: From Arkansas in Family stuff on Jul 23 2008

Welcome back!

We sort of missed spring cleaning this year so we had to do it in the summer. Frankly, I hate to do it because I know that when we move things around and pack things up that we no longer use, it will take probably 3 months to find everything we still use. Okay, so I know that we could put things where we would find them. And that’s what we do. Unfortunately, we do not always remember where that was. I suspect my husband and I need to start writing down everything we own and where we put it. That would certainly save a lot of aggravation.

Guessing that things were going to packed away again, we had to find a lot of cardboard boxes to put away the items no longer useful. We try not to throw away much. Do you have any idea how hard that can be now to find boxes? Some were saved from people sending purchases to us. Others were just gathered over the years. But I can tell you that it is not as easy to find them as it used to be. Years ago, all you had to do to get boxes was to go to the stores and ask. They had no use for them so they gave them to you. Now, many times, those same type of boxes are being recycled. The companies get money back for that. All well and good until you need those items and there are none to be had. So now we conserve the ones we have. Everything works out.

First, I am likely not a great blogger but I am somewhat dedicated to it. I love blogging. As for getting my own domain, I did. I have several of them. This happens to be one of two blogs that I set up before I knew I could have my own domain and they are used to get paid. I love it.

As a matter of fact, I have about 12 domains that are my own. Well, actually we have more than 30, some are for sale. But I have 7 I am currently growing with.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’m way ahead of you. :)
