Oh, The Food I Love

Posted by: From Arkansas in Not so fast food, cooking on Jul 18 2008

Welcome back!

One of the things I love to do is cook. Lately though, my husband has shown a lot of skill in the kitchen himself. A few years ago, we discovered a cooking network on television and watched countless shows that were a “how to” of cooking. My husband took it seriously and began to cook up a storm, more or less. Before that, he was my handy person because he used to do all the chopping and cutting for me. Well, he still does that but now he uses it himself.

Although I have not yet retired from the kitchen, he has taken over for a while. I get to sit on the couch and wait impatiently for his next, fragrant creation. Tonight, we had a wonderful spaghetti mix that had both ground turkey and ground chicken in it. We loved it! But he has many more recipes in his head, believe me. So, we do not ever have to worry about eating good food. Both of us cook. Both of us can eat the other person’s cooking. Nice, no?

Your lucky to have someone else do the cooking too. Men can be good at cooking if they really try. Ill probably end up doing the cooking if I ever get married. Good post

Yes, I am blessed to have a husband who wants to cook and is good at it. We love to trade off recipes and enjoy each other’s cooking. I love it!!!

      Thanks for your comment.

Now that is scary, a man who knows how to “cook”. I mean men should know how to grill but to “cook” is another thing.

Ah, so where do the great chefs of the world go then if not into the kitchen? LOL! Good cooks are hard to come by. I am so happy that he loves to do this.

      Thanks for visiting, Ryan!
