Inconsiderate People At Local Discount Store

I realize that it is not only my gripe because I have heard others gripe about things that happen at their local Wally World. Of course, I have had my own battle of the roads, the aisles and the products at our local store. Battle of the roads #300 happened today. And I am not a bit happy about it. I can tell you that I cannot stand inconsiderate people. Now, before you get all in my face and tell me that maybe the guy didn’t know that he was being inconsiderate, let me tell you what makes me so hot, then you decide for yourself.

Because of the hour when all of the people in the history of the area are at the local store, I dropped my husband off at the lesser used door. He knew that I would pick him up or would park at the other door or as near it as I could possibly get. I came up through the parking lot toward the grocery side of the store. It is the more popular side. Had there been a parking place on the other side, I would have deferred to that side anyway. I drove up through to a small line apparently waiting for a car to vacate the one almost available spot. This pickup with an older man in it sat there waiting for the people to put their groceries in the car and then get settled. Eventually, it came out of the parking spot. At that point, I was hoping that both those in the space and the pickup owner who was making the rest of us wait all that time, a matter of at least five minutes, were looking at life insurance quotes because, in my opinion, they both needed them desperately.

While the people took their time putting things in the car, the pickup driver sat and waited while the rest of us burned very precious gas. There was no way to get out of this because I had cars in front of me and behind me. It was a no-win situation here. The pickup driver could have let the rest of us go but NOOOOOOO, he had to have THAT parking space. He had to make everyone else wait for his needs and wants. I am getting so disgusted with self absorbed, self centered people who don’t give a high hoot about anyone but themselves. This is ridiculous.

Are you kidding me?? Maybe that guy doesn’t really have to pay for his own gas. Maybe someone gives it to him. But we pay for ours. We cannot afford for some dumb, paste for brains bonehead spend all the gas we cannot afford to lose. But that is exactly what happened. And before any bright soul tells me that I could have shut off the engine, yes, I could have HAD I KNOWN when the slow motion people were going to finish what they were doing. Otherwise, I shut it off, then the car leaves, I have to start it up right away. Costs money too. I lose.
