The Days Are Hotter Now

Welcome back!

In the winter, we wished for warmer weather. HA! Now we have it and don’t really want it. Go figure. Actually, the real problem is that we don’t have much time with the good weather when it’s in the 70s, light breeze, mild sunny day. Now that kind of day I could use right now. Very nice. I am so wishing that we had the cooler weather now. LOL! I know. I cannot make up my mind. But, you know what? I did have a daydream about what I would do on such a day.

My daydream begins with being able to get outside where it’s just nice. Very mild day. The winter is gone, summer is not yet here. Calm. Not a lot of sound except for the birds. The squirrels are running through the trees like they always do. I would get out the outdoor furniture and put it right where I could see them playing in the trees. We have two squirrels that think they’re flying squirrels. At least I suspect that. They come to a place on a branch at the end and spring out and more or less glide to the other tree and land on a branch there. I watch them all the time from the front window but to be able to sit out there and watch them would be fun.

Not fun is sitting out there with the temperature in the 90s, the humidity way up and the sun beating down on skin that hasn’t seen a lot of that sun in quite a while. Nope. I do not think now is quite the time to sit out there like that. And nope. We do not have a lot of shade because of the way the sun hits our yard. Bummer, huh. Ah well.
