That Boring Time At A Hospital

Welcome back!
As you are aware if you read my posts from a couple days ago, my husband and I were residing in the hospital until they found out that he was okay. Outside of all the crap that went on, it was pretty tame going. The real problem is boredom. I know. I should have taken something to do just like my husband should have done. However, the first time that he was in the bed, he was not allowed to move for approximately 10 hours from the procedure time to the actual “getting up” time.
Can you say BORING? I was thinking then that maybe we should at least have a laptop or a few books to read. Of course, if the hospital wasn’t too cheap (snicker), they would provide some really great pastimes. Who knows what they could dream up if they tried. Possibly they could give us rental movies or a CD player. Perhaps we could really have fun with a PS2 or some other type of games. Now, I know what you’re thinking. Is she nuts? No hospital is going to put that sort of thing into a hospital room. Maybe not, especially in that room we were in first. No tv available since it was controlled by the other guy. So what? They could do this for patient comfort, don’t you think? Nah, me either. I just thought it would be fun to throw that out there for the heck of it.
