Growing Older Is Sometimes Painful

Welcome back!
I realize that is the understatement of the year in the title. However, it bears repeating since many people are still in their prime years and have no clue whatsoever what I’m talking about. See, I was there once. I didn’t see that people that are getting older have pains, mental and physical. Oh, when you see the guy with a cane, you get it that he’s got a problem. But what about those hidden things that cause grief and mental pain? I am talking about the memory loss that comes with getting older…but does it?
From the things I have been reading and seeing on television, that may not totally be the case. For instance, through my beliefs, I have learned that if you believe it strongly enough, it will happen. No, that’s not blind faith but it is faith that things do come to pass if the right conditions exist. How about this. And this one is so easy. Most people who are afraid of something happening suddenly find themselves in the very situation they feared. Why? I believe it’s because in this nasty world, evil and nasty things will happen easier than the good ones.
Memory loss is such a life sucker. So many people fear Alzheimer’s disease that when a small loss of memory does occur, the first thing that comes to mind is that very disease. Come on!!! There are reasons for that disease to happen. One thing is a blockage in the brain. Blood flow does not get to that portion of the brain and memory loss occurs. But what about the person who does not have that nor is likely to have it? If they have a memory loss it might simply mean that they need to refocus on the problems and relearn how to remember. That’s what I learned to do. I also learned to play thought provoking games. It’s all in how you think and want to remember. And for heaven’s sake, get rid of the fear!!!
