Chocolate Moments I Have Lived Through

Posted by: From Arkansas in The Chocolate Moments In Life on Jun 01 2008

Welcome back!

There are some moments in time that just have to be noticed. They have to be. This is one such moment. It isn’t about what I have to say. That’s pretty much irrelevant. It is about what movie I saw a while ago or the cute moment that our puppy did something. It’s about that one little look from the newborn baby in our family. It is a chocolate moment, pure and simple. Does that make sense at all? And in the process, I am on a deadline for a blog entry or two.

But the PRESSURE of the time left of the day. ARGH!!! What to say???? My mind goes totally blank..well, maybe not THAT blank but definitely not thinking of any useful info for this particular blog. Sigh. I would call that a Dark Chocolate moment.

Then there are those times when you cannot stop thinking…about the day, your shoes, supper, tomorrow’s supper (got to get the stuff at the store before we forget it. Have to travel 9 miles to the store. Gas prices are high these days.), the cat food, dog food, kid food, we-wish-we-were-kids food, the newest DVD….well, that one is probably best suited for ebay. Hey, everyone wants a different one. But it is fun to figure it out. That’s likely to be a Milk Chocolate moment, don’t you think? What the heck. It’s chocolate. Do I have to explain this? Then you aren’t a chocoholic anyway.

Okay, the best one is when you and your spouse are sitting watching a “chick flick” and everyone gets all mushy. MY husband likes chick flicks, thank you! THAT is a White Chocolate moment. HA! (We just watched My Best Friend’s Wedding)

Tonight, I will dream of the chocolate parade or maybe just the chocolate. I really like that better anyway. Who needs to dream of a chocolate parade? Did you know that people actually WEAR chocolate clothes? Who does this?? Now that’s what I call a REAL meltdown. Especially if it gets as hot as it has been the last few days. Of course, it could be hotter if they wait until August or so. I think they should do that. Or maybe not come to think of it. Who needs to see that????? Chocolate parades???? ACK!
