And Then There Was Baby

Welcome back!

I mentioned the fact that our family has a brand new baby, born last week. In case you missed it, here’s the link. Her name is Mollie! She is a blessing. And she lives in a house 18 miles from us so we can’t see her every day but we do hear about her. She is precious. And you will be able to see how precious when you take a look below! Yep, she’s a looker all right.

You know what? Because of how long ago it was since I had my own little bundles of joy, it is more difficult to decide what to get for the baby gifts, ya know? Well see, I can remember what I actually needed for baby but others would not know that so they bought things that were great but we never put them to use. It took quite a while before I could get the others to take note of what we actually needed. I suspect that it would be in the Mom’s best interests if she were to post what she wanted for baby and let the people choose from that list, sort of like a wedding gift registry. I like that idea. Might promote that one myself. *grin*

In the meanwhile, our precious bundle is already learning such great things as smiling when she sees funny stuff and frowning when it ain’t right! Hmm, loaded diaper perhaps? Rainstorms are not good right now. No sense in scaring her. We will be seeing her again soon. Maybe more pictures will follow. Who knows.
