Cars That Go Bang In The Night

Welcome back!
Okay, that title is for effect, pure and simple. My car does not do that. Well, it used to do it but we got it fixed recently and now it doesn’t do that anymore. Our car is an older model, 1993 in fact, and it’s got a whole lot of miles on it. We do not think it will last forever but we certainly hope it lasts long enough for us to get a new one or at least a new one to us. I doubt too many people are interested in getting a new car these days.
What with the gas prices going up every minute or two, it does not seem like the thing to do to buy a brand new car. Those things are monstrously expensive now not to mention expensive to operate if they happen to be a bigger car. Heck, it costs to spend the original purchase price, then the car insurance you have to have to drive off the lot and the tags. Then go and fill that puppy up. ACK! By the time you’re done, you are so broke it ain’t funny. Ah but if you really want that car, who can stop you??? And after all, you can get that really great 18 miles to the gallon too. Hey, I heard about a car today that got a whopping 23 miles to the gallon!! YEAH!!! Does anyone at all think that the car companies were in bed with the gas company people? Yeah, I did too.
