Eye Doctor Appointment Coming Up

Welcome back!

Since I have reached a certain age, I get to have eye doc appointments each year. That’s not really bad though. It doesn’t hurt at all and if there’s anything there, I get treatment before it gets worse. Not bad at all. But it takes time. That part is not so hot. I hate to wait on those appointments. Still, it’s only once a year, not like my medical doc that I see at least every three months. And speaking of him, I have my yearly exam there too. ACK! You know the drill; EKG, xrays, bloodwork. But back to the eye doc.

I have heard of Lasik surgery before but it never dawned on me to pursue it myself. Well, I have had glasses since I was twelve and that’s…..uh, a lot of years ago. Hate to say it but my birthday was yesterday so chalk up another one. Sigh. Nevertheless, I understand that I might actually have a shot at getting the eyes fixed up so I no longer have nearsightedness. That would be awesome and after all these years too. WOW!

So, I guess I will be asking my eye doctor about that at the next appointment, that and those nutty looking little squiggles I see every now and then. And then there’s those blurry days when I can’t seem to get anything to focus. And boy, it’s hard to drive at night..can hardly see a thing!!! Maybe I need to get some shades for those really bright headlights, right? Well, I do have to drive to the doc’s appointment. Hope they don’t put those drops in my eyes again. ACK!!!
