Time To See My Eye Doctor Again

Welcome back!
It is getting to the point that I really hate to go to the eye doctor anymore. Oh, I do not mind the exam. That’s fine. And my doc is great. I really like him. He checks for everything especially since I am getting…..ack!….older. But that’s what I like about him. This person is just a good doctor.
No, the problem I have is that when I go to him, he is seeing that I need new glasses. That is what I dread because they always cost way too much. What I really would like to be able to purchase really cheap glasses that are as good as those that I have to buy at the doctor’s office. Now, if only I can do that, the visit to the eye doctor won’t be so painful. But what always happens is that I get the new prescription and then I pick out the frames, the ones I get every time. When they ask about the extras, I cannot think of any that I must have because they cost so much. We do not have insurance for the glasses, only the office visit. Have you seen any glasses that cost less than $150-$300 anymore? Yeah, that’s what I mean. I just want to go elsewhere for them this time. I think I will.
