Light Bulbs Need To Last Longer!

It is an absolute irritation that the lights out in our carport have to be replaced so often. I mean, come on. Now, I have to say this. One of the lights is that curly cue type, florescent ones that save so much on electricity. But the other fixture cannot, at this time, accept those bulbs so we have to keep replacing them with standard light bulbs. I hate that.
What I would really love is to get a full remodeling job on the outdoor lighting altogether. It would include getting new fixtures for the carport but I would love to have some more lighting on the front of the house too. It leaves a whole lot to be desired, I am telling you. We have one light on the front door and two lights in the carport. There is nothing lighting up the back of the house at all. It really is needed. My husband used to take our dog out back and have a lot of problems seeing where she went. She was black.
I would feel a whole lot safer if we did have more outdoor lighting, that’s for sure. Maybe it will happen one of these days.
