What Would You Give For A Good Night’s Sleep?

Welcome back!
It started a lot of years ago. When I was trucking, I could not get enough sleep. It was awful. Usually, it was because I had an appointment and I had to get there. So, a couple of hours of sleep was pretty good. Then, when I went home for a few days, I got at least 8, sometimes many more, hours of sleep at a time. Used to be that I could just about sleep anywhere. That has certainly changed. I do not like what has happened to me.
My husband and I have tried to figure out why I do not get as good a night’s sleep as I used to. Possibly it has to do with blood pressure or blood sugar levels. I don’t know but it’s a big problem for me. At one time, we did think it was our mattress. It is kind of old but still quite sturdy. But maybe sturdy isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Actually, what I would really like to have is a memory foam mattress, you know, that remembers the shape? Yep, I would love to have one of those beauties.
Thing is, if that isn’t it, I have no idea what it might be. Maybe I have just gotten so used to waking up, that’s what I continue to do every night. Sigh. I could use a really great night’s sleep. You know, I have been heard to growl when I wake up and see the time….yeah, 3:30am and I’m awake again. Rats!
