Videos To Shock Us: Throwing A Puppy Off A Cliff

This piece of news came this morning on a news program. A video of a puppy being thrown off a cliff by a soldier, one of our soldiers. The marine is smiling in the video. He is holding a puppy which he eventually throws off a cliff. As far as I am concerned, this is 17 seconds of tremendous horror. Yes, it is only a small puppy not a human but it is awful nevertheless.
What I am grateful for is….Youtube took down the video for a terms of service violation and the marines are taking this very seriously. They say they will take appropriate action for this awful deed. There are questions about this act. Some say there are discrepancies in the video and audio. What would bring a marine to do such a thing? Shock value? Meanness?
I am shocked that it was even possible to see such a video. We were spared the whole effect of that particular video because the news program chose not to air the video itself for which I am grateful. If there was ever a sign that things are getting out of hand, this is yet another of those. The world is becoming worse and worse. Maybe it would be time for people to start reading this website, Lura’s Bookcase and God’s Topshelf as well as Our Walk In The Word. These are the signs of the end of the age.
