Clinton Seemingly On The Slide Downward

Hillary Clinton has lost several of those all important caucuses and primaries that have been happening in quite a few of the states. She appears to be banking on those two large contests in Ohio and Texas. Having lost 11 of the last contests to Obama, it would seem that she is very much fighting an uphill fight.

On a personal note, I have found over the years that if a candidate of such visibility puts large amounts of their own money into a Presidential race at this particular time, it would seem that the backers are not as heavy as they used to be. That is a huge red flag to me. Of course, her husband has talked so much that it may be that he is now more of a detriment than an asset.

Frankly, I am not thrilled with either Hillary or Barak. Both are coming up with some very different ways of doing things but those things do not seem right, at least to me. For instance, Mr. Obama is gathering the black vote simply because he’s black. I do realize that it would be a huge step forward and a massive part of Rev. King’s “I’ve Got A Dream” speech. This would be great for the country IF….IF this man is the right one for our country. I do not think that he should be in the office simply because he is black. That’s my belief.

By the same token, I do not believe that Hillary should be in that office just because she is a woman either. For instance, I am a female and not likely to vote for Hillary because she is female. In fact, I do not particularly like her…neither her politics nor her attitude. I sat here in Arkansas while she was more or less in office her. Then I watched her in office in Washington. Yes, I believe that she was a big share of the actions in the White House. Well, SOME of them anyway.

And what the heck would anyone do if some politically savvy black woman would be in the race? Are all blacks and women going to vote for her for that reason???? My goodness. Maybe we ought to go in and just take a stab with our eyes closed. Could we do any worse???? Sigh.
