Diets, Overweight, Underweight, Exercise

Welcome back!
One of the topics I totally hate is diets, overweight people, underweight people and exercise. If I am being completely honest here, my serious hate is for exercise. That is a really bad word. Really bad. When I was in high school, I could not get enough of running, which they now call jogging, because it gave me endurance, muscle tone, good legs and, for the most part, kept the weight off. I really did not think about weight much then. Oh, for the good ol’ days.
These days, we think about exercise when we get up in the morning. Well, it’s the one that works the arm and hand muscles. See, you take the item in your hand, work the muscle in the arm to raise the hand to the face, then insert the utensil in the mouth with the item on it…such as eggs and sausage.
Okay, days go by when we stare at the treadmillwithout firing it up. It can be nicely used as a coat rack in the winter, you know. It stands in the corner like a sentry, guarding the house from mad exercise intruders. Some day, the treadmill will get us up on it again. That day IS coming, I know it is. Actually, I was thinking about exercise the other day. Maybe we could get a Wii!!! Now THAT is great exercise, isn’t it.
