Living in the Ozarks is very nice when you think about how close we are to Branson, Mo. That would be where some of the top names in country music decided to go to do their shows for you, the music lover. Of course, it’s not just the country music stars…Andy Williams is there. But if you really love country music, they have tributes to the greats; Elvis, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams and many more. Say, do you like Mickey Gilley? Mel Tillis? Bobby Vinton? Jim Stafford? All have shows for you at Branson.
Now, there are shows and more shows but they have other things to offer as well. Silver Dollar City is close by. Just step back in time to the 1880’s for a treat that you will not forget. Not only do they have the fantastic restaurants but also the magnificent craftsmen, nearly 100, who make all sorts of fascinating things like candles, candy. My personal favorite is the glass blower. You can also watch a blacksmith at work.
Those are just a couple of the many things at Branson for your enjoyment. Also available to visit are the museums, thrill rides, golf courses, theaters, water rides, miniature golf and my all time fav…shopping!! They have factory outlets!!!! I can’t wait to get there.
