Move? Are You Kidding Me? Well, Maybe.

Welcome back!

About 11 years ago, we decided to move to Arkansas from Missouri. We lived only about 35 miles east of the University of Missouri at Columbia. We did like living there but there were several problems that I won’t go into since it includes talking about a landlord that should never be one, but I digress.

We moved into our current home about 6 years ago out of necessity. Now we live in a three bedroom house that is beginning to be a tad small for us. I actually do not like the idea of moving at all, mind you, since we would do all the packing ourselves and leaving the heavy stuff to the professionals….at least I would expect to do that.

So, where would we move, you ask? I was thinking of heading to Branson, Missouri. Yep, back in the “Show Me” state again. But the big reason for doing that would be because I love country music, which appears to be abundant in Branson now AND because one of my favorite ministries happens to be there. Nothing like getting in on the action. First, however, one would have to get a hold of the real estate Branson market, I would think. After that, you simply have to find the one home that you would fall in love with and want to live in for however many years. I might want to continue to think about this a while.

I would imagine that area to be great. With the tourist industry so big thats another plus for the area economic growth. Good Luck on your decision. Sounds like your ready to go. I bet you’ll be there by late Spring.

Tennessee is great also if retiring taxes low, lots of country music in Nashville area. My concern if still working check into employment first.

The Branson area is a good one. We are not heading in that direction quite yet. It was just a thought so far. But it does bear looking into for a lot of reasons.

Tennessee is a good place also. I have been through Tenn. on many occasions and found it to be fantastic in some areas. Some, not so hot in the winter. ACK!!!

We are not working so that’s not an issue for us but would be for many.

      Thanks for your comments!
