Giants-17 Patriots-14! Who Knew?

The game was extremely close right from the beginning. Everyone was ready to play. Unfortunately, Tom Brady did not get the coverage he needed to throw the passes like he should have. But I have to hand it to the Patriots. They stayed in there, brought their game, but it was just too much for them this time. It’s a sad day for them, to be sure, and one for the books.
On the other hand, the Giants are having the night of their lives. Their defense made the game. They stayed on Brady, blitzing and sacking him so that he could not get the passes through that he needed. They stopped the Pats running game right from the beginning. They allowed two touchdowns.
It’s just my opinion here but if the decision to kick for a field goal had happened instead of the “run for it” strategy of the Pats, the Patriots would have won the game. I do believe that they pretty much did this to themselves.
