What Do You Do On The Weekends?

Welcome back!
Our weekends can be pretty busy most of the time. We have two nieces that are off at school, one goes to college about 70 miles away and one goes to prep school, which is a lot farther away in the south part of the state. My bro-in-law travels to get one of them while we pick up the other one. That way they can be home as often as possible. That’s actually on Fridays.
On Saturdays, we usually head over to my Mom’s house to visit for the afternoon. When the girls are home, there are nine people having fun talking, discussing the latest politics or ridiculous news stories. It’s a lot of fun there. I do love the discussions because some of them can be pretty interesting and you might actually learn things you didn’t know.
On Sundays, we usually stay home and veg. I love to veg. Occasionally, we watch the latest football game, if a team we like is playing. If someone has a good movie in mind, we get comfy and enjoy the latest one that we have or get out the oldies but goodies, if the mood strikes us. With our livingroom seating we can almost feel like we happen to be sitting at the theater with theater seating; popcorn, drinks and all. Sometimes we have a marathon. Not long ago, we watched all three Lord of the Rings movies. It was fantastic. Of course afterwards, we did not want to watch movies for a while. LOL!!
