Make The World Go Away! Not Just A Country Song

Welcome back!

There are days that just make you want to go back to bed or never get out of it in the first place. Most days, I can deal with the little problems that come along. You know, paying for that propane bill with all the money you have in the world because the thing cost $350 instead of the $135 it used to cost. GRRR!!! Or living in a place where not much is available to you in the brick and mortar stores. Aren’t there days when you just want to find one of those Condo Hotels and veg there? Don’t you just want to make the world go away and get it off your shoulders? Me too.

We live in a house on a tree-lined street with lots of trees in between. We have deer grazing in our yard in the early morning hours. The mailman comes up to the door when he has a big box for us instead of throwing one of those yellow papers into the mailbox so you can catch the box back at the post office before they ship it back to the sender. All that is well and good.

BUT! When the leaves drop, you have to rake all that up and do something with it. Nope, can’t burn it. Bag it and place it where the leaf picker uppers come and get it. Do not have your dog outside without a leash even in your own yard because they will come and take the dog away. If the animal is old and sick, gone doggie. No amount of pleading will help. Pay the fines and find a new dog. Yep, I am really thinking about getting away from it all. Oh wait. That’s where we live now. Oh great. Now what????
