Happy New Year! Welcome To 2008

Welcome back!
Today is the first day of the newest year. I wanted to do a small recap of our year and then start to plan the new year.
The year, 2007, started pretty slowly. My husband finally got my attention with paid blogging when he started to get paid for his efforts in that area. Before that, I had no interest in doing the paid stuff since I figured that it was some type of scam since you only get paid every month with most of them. However, he got paid!! WOW!!
Most of the year is something of a blur but there were some things that happened, not all good. Our family had one person graduate from high school and head for college. One was completing her junior year in a college prep school. The summer was hot and unremarkable. My uncle died, my Mom’s brother. And on the 28th of this month, our beloved Kitty died. The end of this year was not great.
However, we are Christians who believe that all things happen for a purpose. We believe that better things are ahead for us so we look forward to this year as much as we did the last one when it was brand new. Our Lord cares for us! This year, we will do better and better!!!
