What Did You Get For Christmas? We Got DVDs

Welcome back!

One of the mainstays of the giving of our extended family happens to be movies and old television shows. We love them. All 9 of us, well, 10 if you include my daughter who does not live in this state. The tastes are varied but we all love a good movie. Some of us are chick flick people. Some are classics people. Some just love family movies and shows. But we all have one thing in common, we love the stuff we can watch on the television….as long as it goes into a DVD player first.

This year, the three of us received a number of DVDs…movies and tv shows. My husband got the second season of Smallville, a series he particularly likes. My niece received Doogie Howser, MD. I believe that was the third season of that one. I received the first season of MASH. I love MASH, all except the last show of the series. That one really was awful. I do realize that people think it was great but I was not one of them.

We also got several movies, some of which we have already seen because we are movie lovers. New to the collection are Spiderman 3, Transformers, The Borrowers, Airbuddies, Brother Bear, John Wayne collection and more that I cannot recall at the moment. We will get to them.

If I were to list the movies and tv shows that were given out this year, you would believe that we have nothing better to do with our time. Not true. It’s just that we love movies. I might give you more later.
