A Show Of Hands! How Many Hate Popups?

Welcome back!

I cannot stand popups. They are intrusive, difficult and do nothing for me. They are a sideshow in a main show world. How many of you hate the things as much as I do? I see. Yes, that’s a large number. Don’t you think that the makers of the popups could get a clue since so many people hate the things? I mean, don’t you want to just run out and find a popup blocker, for crying out loud? I know I do. As a matter of fact, I do have one.

Since so many sites now carry these popups, it is inevitable that people find a way to block them. I love that. Maybe some day, some maker of popups will get that very special clue and stop forming the nasty things and move on with his life. And by the way, doesn’t the word “popup” start to sound like Mary Poppins to you? Hmmm, maybe not but I did think that. I know. I’m weird. Go figure.
