What Is The Truth About Vaccinations For Kids?

Last month, a big problem arose in Maryland when the state decided to enforce the recently passed law that says that kids have to be vaccinated in order to go to school. I suspect it would not have been such a difficult thing had they only made it for the kids coming into the system but they wanted ALL the kids vaccinated. The parents disagreed. Ah but that is not allowed. The state threatened the parents with being put in jail for noncompliance of the law.

Isn’t this a bit ridiculous for shots? Come on! The state is going to jail the parents until they comply??? Where do we live? This isn’t a communist country, at least not yet…more or less. But the parents did not agree and there were those who did hold out.

The problem I had with the whole thing was…why are these parents objecting to something the rest of us have lived with for a multitude of years? Why not simply get the shots and be done with it? It was then that I found out the dangers in the shots we are giving our children because the state requires it for them to attend school. All sorts of so-called experts on this are chiming in on how great and lifesaving these shots have become.

But is that true? Are we just going along with the state and their mandatory babblings or are the shots really good for us? I, myself, have had the mandatory shots from the time I was about to go to kindergarten. When the (at the time) new polio shots were being sent out to the schools, I got mine with most of the other kids. When the whole thing ended up in a sugar cube when I was in junior high school, my parents and I got ours. We complied with the laws because we believed that it was the right thing to do. But is it?

I do have to tell you that I cried when I saw what the state is mandating that we put into our children and into us as well. I was shocked and I haven’t been shocked by much these past few years.

So, what can be done about this? Write your congressperson. Do NOT take explanations that simply give you rhetoric. You need answers and you need them NOW!!!
