Just When You Need It, It’s Gone

Posted by: From Arkansas in In The House, Odds And Ends on Nov 17 2007

Welcome back!

As I have said in the past, our home has some fairly poor lighting. We have a ceiling fan with ceiling lighting but it is rather dim at best. What we actually need to do is install an new fan and ceiling light so that we can actually SEE the room. Otherwise, it’s pretty dark even on the sunniest days. That has to change.

You know why I have such trouble with this lighting? Because just about the time you really NEED the thing, it’s gone. It simply isn’t worth the time to turn it on with the fan too. Now, the fan is absolutely necessary, especially in the summertime. Our house does get a bit hot and the air conditioner does run quite a lot but the fan is great, stays on all summer long. We just don’t turn on the light. Sigh.
