Google’s Dance Only Hurts If You Let It

Posted by: From Arkansas in Are You Kidding Me?, Give Me A Break, It's A Rant, Odds And Ends, Shame of America on Nov 10 2007

Welcome back!

For those of us who blog and watch our rankings from Google, this dance period has been rather devastating. Some of us retain our page rank fairly well and others of us are wondering what happened. Apparently, they still are not finished. We who have been hit by the dance will breathe a sigh of relief, however short lived it may be. We can hope that it does change things for the better though we should not get our hopes too high. Why? That’s the real question, isn’t it.

Google is doing what some call a spanking. They have decided to penalize those people who like to blog for their incomes. Now, I find that to be somewhat hypocritical of them since they have their own money making operation out there as well. Guess they are trying to drag down the competition. For those of us who are caught in the middle, it is not so pleasant.

But why are we caught in the middle? Because those companies that we work for are basing our income on our page ranks. Now that is NOT FAIR in the least. That gives outfits like Google power over us that they do not have coming. So, we need to find ways of boycotting Google so that they know that we are not interested in their bullying tactics.

GOOGLE, hypocrits!!! You hypocritical people who try to decide the fate of others by wielding your so-called power. WE give you that power and we can disregard it as fast as you can throw it out there for all to see. We are no longer happy with you who want to decide whether I can make a living on the net or not. GO find someone else to bully. I am no longer interested.

Google, you are a shame to America and deserve the Shame of America award!

hmmm very hard. But ther is some truth in it. I think it is not really fair to play a game without knowing the rules. Nobody knows how the PR really works.

You are so right. Nobody knows. That’s part of the good deal they have. It’s their formula, their company, their opinion. Unfortunately, their opinion makes a difference and it should not. That’s the big problem.

      Thanks for commenting.
