Those Boots Are Made For Walkin’

Posted by: From Arkansas in It Ain't Sorted, So What, Odds And Ends on Nov 07 2007

Welcome back!

Some years ago, I was on a trip to Mexico at Christmas time. It was pretty cold where we went. We knew that so we bought some really good hiking boots. They were actually pretty great for that type of weather. The fact was, I did not want to wear some wimpy boots that didn’t stand the walking in whatever weather and terrain that we were going to be on.

Danner Boots happen to fall into the category of good hiking boots. I have heard the name for a long time. They stand the test of time. The fact that they are a light weight shoe was so important to me at a time when I needed that. Many are insulated and waterproof! Absolutely essential to hiking. These Danner boots are made with a TERRA-FORCE X support system that makes walking so comfortable.

I know that when I was hiking in the mountains of Mexico, in the winter time, the insulated, waterproof, lightweight boots I had on were what kept me going when I wanted to stop and sit down, something that was not a good idea at the time.

You might want to remember that name…Danner Boots.
