Google Has Image Problems?

Welcome back!
Problems at Google arose when the stories they were reporting and the pictures that were supposed to go with them suddenly didn’t. Top business stories like the one with a Japanese merger deal had pictures of bunches of veggies. Not bad. Apparently, Google has their stories automated. It selects and displays stories, with pictures, through a computer program. Some day, maybe large corporations, like Google, might actually understand that sometimes they need a human to get it right.
I suspect that Google is enjoying too much on their various plates. They seem to have the need to police the internet to make sure those bloggers who make money only do it through Google and nowhere else. That would be why the page ranks went down on those blogs that Google decided were blogging for money. A shame that they are now getting too busy to police themselves and their own shop.
Do you think that they really blew it when they had a picture of a couple of monkeys next to a story about Dick Parsons leaving as chief exec at Time Warner? Who knows. I would call it tasteless myself.
