Welcome back!

Recently, I just had to have my old high school yearbook back. It was lost some long years ago. Actually, it had not been in my possession for about 40 years. Whew! Time goes by when you’re having fun, right? Not really. So, I went on a mini-quest to find my graduation year. It was not easy since I lived in Iowa and those were not that plentiful. However, I did find a guy who had what I needed and sold it to me for a fairly reasonable price. Then I looked at it.

Ha Ha. Do you have any idea how much you forget in all those years? For instance, I totally forgot that I was part of the makeup team that worked on the high school plays. It was a lot of fun. No idea how I forgot that. It was the night of the play and all the makeup mirrors were lined up like little soldiers. We had our makeup kits ready and waiting. A tense moment…then, the cast began to come in, one by one, to get makeup on for their performances. The excitement grew as each of the players stood up, fully made up for their characters. And on they went. It was great.
