My Graduation Was Incredible–A Trip To Memory Land

Welcome back!

I do not know why I started thinking about my high school graduation other than the fact that this one place on the net bugs me to be part of their list of grads. I finally did sign up the other day. They had a special of a free week. I forgot about it and now I’m signed up for three months. It got me thinking about my graduation day.

My Mom and Dad were really happy to see me in my cap and gown so they took a bunch of pictures. They took more at the ceremony. I got more pictures when the family gave me my presents, you know, the loot!!! My folks left theirs for last. My aunts and uncles did the aunt and uncle thing so I got things like stationary and pens and some totally practical stuff that I have forgotten. Dunno why. But my folks got me one of these truly cool luggage sets that the guy in the commercial jumped on. I just knew that I would not be able to tear those up..never.

Eventually, I did start traveling all over the country. The luggage was so incredibly worth it for that alone. But I will never forget the look on my parents faces when I graduated that day. That was worth more than anything because I was the first one in my family to graduate. It was awesome.
