Where They Filmed Lord Of The Rings

Welcome back!

After having seen all three Lord of the Rings movies, I wanted to travel to New Zealand myself and see some of the sites, get a feel for the way they had to live there for a couple of years while filming the whole series at once. Did you know that they filmed all three movies at once? Oh yes. So, the cast and crew more or less lived there in Auckland Accomodation for those years.

That peaked my interest in the country. From the scenes I saw, the country is absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. But during those years, it must have been difficult to get Cheap Hotels in New Zealand, don’t you think?

But if I were to go to New Zealand, I would want to see what sights they had. The Waitakere World Junior Badminton Championships 2007 sounded interesting. Or if that’s not your cup of tea, how about the Coastal Classic Yacht Race? I would certainly want to stay in Cheap Hotels in Auckland because I have a tight budget. But it would be a great deal of fun to visit just to see the places where they filmed the movie.

    I’m with you, i would love to go to new zealand to, not only see where lotr was filmed but also just for the sake of seeing the beautiful country.
