Toothpicks Render Football Field Useless

Thousands of toothpicks were embedded into a football field not long before a game. That was incredibly dangerous for the players because the toothpicks were sticking up like little spikes. Injuries would have been serious. The players were warming up when one of them noticed a problem that turned out to be the toothpicks. It may have been a prank but has now gone to a criminal investigation. The teams went to the other team’s field to play the game.
