Concerts That I Have Been To OR How To Embarass A Friend

Welcome back!

I have to say that when I was a teenager, the concerts I went to were far different in those days than they are right now. For instance, I went to The Smothers Brothers concert. Most people hardly know who they are. There was that Bill Cosby one man show thing. But the one that sticks out in my mind is the one I took my friend to on her birthday. It was Bobby Vinton, her favorite singer at the time. We sat in the third row. When he asked for requests, I stood up and said it was her birthday. LOL! He sang to her! She was mad at me for about 20 seconds and then went all teary eyed.

Now days, the teens want what? Van Halen tickets? What are teens wanting now. You know, they are on tour now that they have reunited. Didn’t know that? Sure. I know that I would still be looking for Garth Brooks tickets if he is doing concerts again. Then there could be Elton John. Did you see that big deal about the scalpers buying up all the Hannah Montana tickets? No way. That should be wrong. Ah well.
