Wearing Computers???? What Will They Think Of Next

Welcome back!
As I sit here listening to music and writing this blog post, I think about computers and how far they have come in my lifetime. Why? Because today, I saw this news item about we will be wearing computers someday soon. I cannot really wrap my mind around that one just yet. On the other hand, aren’t we already carrying them with us, having portions of things like it in our clothes and other items. After all, there are things like RFID chips you tote around as it is. Most of the big stores are putting those things in the clothes. A whole other post, believe me.
Clothes that have sensors. They say that name tags will be able to notice our moods. Do I really want someone to see my mood when I’m not even sure what it is first? I don’t think so. That smacks of the mind police. One of the things they mentioned is a threadlike sensor sewn into clothing that would be able to tell the wearer about their posture. Hey, didn’t we get enough of that from our Mothers??? But, when it tells the person by way of the computer, that’s going too far!!! My computer is NOT going to tell me to sit up straight!!
And naturally, they are developing sensors that essentially track your every move and position. Uh no!!! Maybe I am not keeping secrets but I do not think it’s anyone else’s business where I am or what I am doing. You watch. They will call these products something that will remind you of your Mother.
