It’s In The Prisons Now…Prisoners Turning To Jesus

Posted by: From Arkansas in Are You Kidding Me?, My Take on Things, Odds And Ends on Oct 02 2007

Welcome back!

Federal prisons had been removing religious materials from the chapel libraries because of a 2004 report from the Justice Dept. told that those materials would tend to incite riots and create violence. Now the Bureau of Prisons is making up a list of “acceptable” materials that may stay on library shelves. The only exceptions will be those they deem as inappropriate and subject to inciting riots and violence.

Then, NBC Nightly News did a report tonight on the changing of the prisons in this country. The report specifically focused on Angola Prison in Louisiana, said to have been the bloodiest prison in the United States. It seems that because of a new beginning in Jesus Christ for many in that prison, the violence is gone..the prisoners are reachable.

This particular video is not the one that NBC did but one that was found with the same message for you to see.
