I have some friends that I have known since 1990 or so. They were in the trucking industry about the same time I was so we met at a truckstop one day. We worked for the same company and lived in the same town. It was a natural.

A couple of years ago, the guy, who was in his seventies at the time, got the news that he needed to move to a drier climate if he wanted to keep breathing without oxygen 24/7. So, they packed up and moved out to Arizona where the cactus is all over the place and Kingman is the biggest town around.

They wanted to find a really great place to live so they looked all over the place at an amazing amount of Arizona luxury real estate before they found the place they wanted. It was in a little suburb of Kingman where the retired folk live. From the pictures I have seen, it is a beautiful area with lots of amenities. The last time I talked to them out in Arizona, they loved it. The gal is a bingo fan and there’s a lot of bingo for her there.

Yes, Arizona was always really nice in the cities that I have been in. I especially remember Kingman because they had a truckstop there that was a favorite of mine. I did get to see some of the area. Most of the time, I wasn’t able to do that.
