Driving Like Jerks…When Will You Ever Learn?

Is it enough that you tailgate me? Do you have to cut in front of me and not even use your turn signal? For those who know who they are, this blog post is for you. For those poor souls who have to endure such fools, maybe you can give them some tips as you meet up with them, assuming you haven’t burned your bridges by the universal gesture already.

Tip: Use the blinkers at all times when turning or changing lanes. It’s a TURN SIGNAL used for turning and changing lanes. Is that such a hard concept to get? (Handle on the left..pull down or up as the case may be. There ya go.)

Tip: Stop the tailgating. First, it’s ILLEGAL. Second, it’s going to get someone killed or injured when the ditzy guy in the front decides to slam on the brakes. OOPS! Get out the insurance card..if you can get up at all. Oh hey, that’s an ambulance coming to take you away. Too late.

Tip: Don’t be stupid and drive drunk. First, it’s ILLEGAL. Second, it’s stupid.

Tip: Stop cutting into line when you just know your meeting is more important than the other guy’s meeting. What if the guy you just cut off is the client you want to impress with your crack intelligence. ROFL!! No, seriously, stop the cutting in. It’s rude, obnoxious and self centered.

Tip: Get your posterior off the blasted cell phone!! What kind of nut drives and talks on a cell phone? The kind of nut that is not paying attention to the road, that’s what kind. Is that you? Shame! Pay attention to the road. If you want to talk on the cell phone..park it and talk.

Yes, I am being a bit sarcastic here. Why? Because I have had to deal with each of these situations with some self centered soul who could not care less that I was on the road as long as they get what they want. That’s why.
