Iranian Weapons Smuggled Into Iraq

Posted by: From Arkansas in Are You Kidding Me?, News And More Stuff, Political News on Sep 24 2007

Welcome back!

If it isn’t enough that our troops are having to deal with all the weapons that are already there, now American troops have to deal with Iranian missiles and weapons being smuggled into the country for use against American soldiers.

The American military has accused Iran of such practices. Of course, Iran denies it. So far, American military troops have found Iranian weapons like a portable surface-to-air missile that uses an infrared guidance system, RPG-29 rocket-propelled grenade, 240 mm rockets, armor-piercing roadside bombs known as explosively formed penetrators (EFP).

The Iranians have denied any such thing happening as an American soldier died and one wounded from EFPs on Saturday. Despite their denials, which in my opinion can be taken with a grain of salt if you need that much, they are supplying the Shiite militias in Iraq against our troops.

In a statement as he came to American soil, “We don’t need to do that. We are very much opposed to war and insecurity,” said Ahmadinejad “The insecurity in Iraq is detrimental to our interests.” He is attending the U.N. General Assembly meeting.

So here we have this guy coming to America to make nice while he is supplying suicide bombers and militias with weapons detrimental to American troops. It would be in our best interests not to allow this guy on American soil but I know that is not going to happen.
