Here is a statistic that you should be aware of….over 21 million people in the United States alone have diabetes. If that staggering figure is not enough, how about a lot of them do not have insurance to pay for the medications and supplies needed to live a normal life. Those who have no insurance must rely on someplace that has affordable prices for their needs. Normally, they are not that cheap.
At American Diabetes, which is a wholesale company dealing in diabetic supplies, their prices make it at least affordable for many people who have to use the Glucose Monitors like the ascensia contour or the one I use, the ascensia breeze 2. Each have what it takes to help the patient lead a normal life. Each allow for multiple site testing and short testing times. Each only requires a small drop of blood for testing and are downloadable to a PC. The company also carries the diabetic test strips for most of the Glucose Monitors in use also at affordable prices.
Coming from experience, these are great! I really like my Breeze 2 machine. It takes a disc of ten strips at a time. The thing is so easy to use that I hardly know I’m testing.
