O.J. Simpson Arrested In Vegas

Sunday, O.J. Simpson was arrested in connection with an armed robbery that was supposedly committed at a hotel in Las Vegas. According to Simpson, he and friends were going after some sports memorabilia that had been stolen from him in the past. He and friends walked into the room of a memorabilia collector, a one time friend of Simpson’s. Simpson made sure to tell police that no guns were involved in the incident.

However, earlier Sunday, police confiscated two firearms as well as other evidence for the case. And as of this writing, at least one other person had been arrested as well. The other person arrested has been charged with two counts of robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and burglarly with a deadly weapon. In all, there may be five individuals arrested and/or questioned in this case.

Simpson, who was questioned as to why he did not bring in the police to help get his property back, said that in the previous case, the police were totally unresponsive when he needed help concerning his wife and Ron Goldman. He stated that he didn’t need the police because it was not a police matter. Alfred Beardsley, the person who’s room was entered, says that he is a friend of O.J. and wants the charges dropped though he has not done that as yet.
